Wings Receives a New Engine and We Continue to Explore

We've never been more anxious since we started on our big Pacific crossing back in 2013! We've paid for an engine and, if things work correctly, we have an Hungarian mechanic in Papeete, Tahiti, who will accept the engine from the shipping company and store it until we arrive from the US. We arrive in French Polynesia, commission the boat, splash her, and sail to Papeete where our mechanic and Bill will remove the old Nanni engine and replace it with a brand new Beta engine. Bill has been working on the project for two years, so he certainly hopes that he's thought of everything!
