Leg 9

Conni and Bill Cruise in French Polynesia

It's been quite an interesting time since we were last on Wings. Home has not been boring!

We will return to French Polynesia via our now-known route, hauling our blue boxes of gear. We'll land in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia and immediately hop aboard a local flight to Raiatea. Wings is still on stands in the Raiatea Carenage yard, but she'll be in "project mode" for at least a week, so we're staying at the Pension Tiare Nui until Wings is in a livable condition.

Unlike previous years, we have no visitors on this leg, and we plan to focus on relaxation and moderate travel among the various island groups of which French Polynesia is composed.

Conni is still working and simply cannot leave her clients for six months, so we're returning to the US and home in mid-July.

Since we have no specific traveling plans, I'm as curious as you must be to learn where we'll visit.
