Leg 15

Wings in the Third Year of the Pandemic

We're returning to Wings!  It's an odd thing and leads to a schizophrenic mind to fully live in Alaska then fully live in French Polynesia, but that's our life.  Alaska had a very cold, very long, and very snowy winter:  as I write this, we still have almost a meter of snow on most of our yard.  As I write THIS, I'm sitting on the little front porch of our bungalow on Raiata.

We have a lot of repair/replacement work to do on the boat.  Among our chores is to FINALLY install a working wind gauge and sensor, repair our desalinator, replace pumps on both forward and aft heads, install a second solar panel controller, and replace the last remaining Raymarine component, the autopilot.  Difficulty does not coincide with sequence.

Our guest was not able to join us this year, unfortunately, but we have so much work that perhaps it was for the best.
