End of the Leg

Tears! We don't want to leave! We've only been on the boat for six weeks rather than the much longer trips. We'll return in March, but we've enjoyed Mexico so much. Here are some photos of the final festivities.

My old friend, John, and his lovely German girlfriend, Karen.

Marina Palmira at night.

The City of La Paz and the Mexican Tourist Bureau, welcomed the Baja fleet to La Paz with a great party. This Mariachi band played for several hours and included three violinists.

The party-goers started early and stayed late. Dinner? Pizza, of course! Pizza? In the Mexican style, of course.

This the violinist and singer. He even played Foggy Mountain Breakdown! What fun!

With every break in entertainment there was a raffle.

Our Canadian friends and us enjoyed a great dinner at Buffalo Bar B Q. From left and clockwise, Mark, Mimi, Lynn, Doug, Conni, Bill. Lynn and Doug were the first cruising friends that we met back in Washington state. Lynn is an ex-teacher and Doug is a retired attorney, a close fit for us.

Live music at the Buffalo. Doug and Conni look on.
