Anniversary Dinner and Work at the Yard

We're continuing to work each day, although we often don't last until 1700. We broke early on Saturday night to prepare for our 34th anniversary dinner! 34 years...Then we return to some photos at the yard.

This is a photo of our kitchen in the new bungalow. I'm standing in our sleeping area, so they are quite separate. It's all new, it appears, with a small gas range, new fridge, ane hot and cold water at the sink: a first. We can dine inside, out of the sun and close to our kitchen.

It's not difficult to know what our appetizer was: Foie gras. It was excellent.

One of our MaiTai cocktails. They're beautiful and the drink obviously has juices that are unobtainable in the US.

Conni's meal of pork belly roasted for 24 hours, and a potato gratin. Pretty tasty fare!

My dinner was was the chef's version of salad Nicoise, as mentioned. It's my favorite here.

This our decadant dessert of peanut butter ice cream, a coconut cake/tart, and chocolate sauce. Holy smokes!
