A New Year on Wings

Being on Wings with Conni is one of Bill's great pleasures in life. Yes, we'll have to put her on the market, but until then, we'll enjoy seeing one of the truly beautiful places on Earth. As I mention on the blog, we have no idea what, if anything, we have to as a major project this year. We're taking some basics and a few items that we didn't buy because we weren't sailing, but if we find a major problem, we'll be unprepared. Yikes! We have learned that there were leak from our chainplates after the new rigging job last season. I had hired our rigger to recaulk the chainplates, but that did not get done: they leaked. He's working now and will replace 3 of the 4 acthal chainplates that he has checked. There are 4 more. We hope that the work does not entail a delay in splashing the boat or damaging interior woodwork. We shall see. Meanwhile, it's cruising as usual. Join us on the trip.
